Let’s Go to Belum Rainforest Resort! One of the Best Travel Place in Malaysia!

Hi everyone, it’s Mr. Wong here!
At 4:00 AM on May 13, we started our exciting forest journey from Johor Bahru to the beautiful Belum Rainforest Resort, located deep in Royal Belum, one of the oldest rainforests in the world — over 130 million years old!
We took the North-South Expressway, and the whole drive took about 10 hours. We stopped at several R&R stations to stretch and enjoy some tea. The weather was great, traffic was smooth, and everyone was in high spirits!
Around noon, we had a delicious riverside lunch at a famous restaurant in Lenggong, Perak. After that, we drove straight to Belum via the East-West Highway (Lebuhraya Timur-Barat) — the views along the way were absolutely stunning: forests, mountains, lakes, and fresh air everywhere.
This road was recently in the news due to a tragic incident involving a baby elephant. So here’s a gentle reminder: drive carefully, especially at night. If you see wild animals crossing the road, please stop, don’t honk, and avoid using flash when taking photos.
We finally arrived safely at Belum Rainforest Resort — what a peaceful paradise surrounded by pure nature! Everyone was super excited to begin this adventure.
