Part 1: A Vibrant First Day Connecting Malaysia’s Tourism Heartbeat
Global Travel Meet 2025 (1-3 October 2025), proudly supported and hosted in collaboration with Tourism Malaysia and MOTAC, took place at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTC KL), bringing together global travel leaders in a truly inspiring atmosphere.✨
As I arrived in Kuala Lumpur, the sight of the magnificent Merdeka 118 Tower — Malaysia’s new world-class landmark — immediately set the tone for a grand tourism event ahead. 🏙️ (📸 Photo: Merdeka 118 view on arrival)

Walking into the grand exhibition hall of WTC KL, my first stop was the Tourism Malaysia booth, where I was warmly welcomed by friendly staff and the impressive Global Travel Meet 2025 company directory. It was clear from the start — this was going to be one of Malaysia’s biggest tourism networking events of the year! 🇲🇾

Throughout the day, I visited numerous vibrant booths and met passionate representatives from across Malaysia’s tourism industry:
🏖️ MITA (Malaysian Inbound Tourism Association),
🎢 LEGOLAND Malaysia,

🚤 Melaka River Cruise & MegaWaterSport,

🏝️ Langkawi SkyCab & Melaka Taming Sari Tower,

🏨 Avante Holidays, Brighton Travel Sarawak,

💼 Platinum Chartered & Only World Group, and many more inspiring local exhibitors.

Most of the participants were MITA members from all over Malaysia — from Johor, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Perak, Kedah, Penang, Terengganu, Pahang, Sabah, and Sarawak — showing the unity and strength of Malaysia’s tourism community. 💪
As one of the MITA Exco members, I felt proud and happy to see so many of our members actively participating and promoting their beautiful destinations and tourism products. Together, we are driving Malaysia’s tourism industry forward with passion and creativity! ❤️
🎉 Gala Dinner Night at Sunway Lagoon
The evening ended with a spectacular Gala Dinner at Sunway Lagoon, featuring a stunning entrance with a red carpet and a glowing “Welcome” signboard.

We were greeted by cultural dance performances, cheerful smiles from Tourism Sabah staff, and an atmosphere filled with joy and friendship.

It was a wonderful night of networking — exchanging business cards, meeting new partners, and enjoying delicious food in a festive environment that truly celebrated the spirit of Malaysian hospitality. 🍽️💃

In Part 2, I’ll share more exciting moments from Day 2, including international networking, MITA members’ active participation, and how I introduced PusatPelancongan.com and OnlineTravelFair.com to tourism professionals from around the world.
