Founded by Derek Lee in 2006, Chow Yang Vegetarian Restaurant is a trusted destination for delicious, high-quality vegetarian cuisine in Ipoh. Conveniently located at 196 & 198, Jalan Bercham, Taman Ria, our restaurant is a quick stop near the Ipoh North-South Highway – Ipoh Selatan toll, making it ideal for both locals and tourists looking for satisfying plant-based meals.

What We Offer

Chow Yang serves a wide variety of vegan lunch and dinner options made from fresh, carefully selected ingredients. In addition to our in-restaurant meals, we provide a range of frozen vegetarian products that can be conveniently ordered and delivered out of town through a special courier service. This unique option allows us to share our flavors with customers across Malaysia.

Our spacious restaurant spans two shop lots and can comfortably seat up to 130 guests at once, making us the ideal venue for special gatherings. From wedding banquets and company events to birthday celebrations, annual dinners and tourists in group, we are equipped and ready to make your occasion memorable. We also have 3 unit VIP rooms up-stair for your special needs. Our dedicated team, composed mainly of local staff, brings warmth and professionalism to every event we host.

Operating Hours and Appreciation

We’re open from 10:45 am to 2:30 pm & 5.45pm to 9.30pm daily, with the exception of 2 days closed per month.
